Justin was raised in Chadron, Nebraska until he attended UNL where he studied physics as an undergrad. He went on to earn his MBA with specializations in Finance and Agribusiness. In 2002 he opened an Edward Jones office in Bennington, NE. After building a brokerage practice for 5 years Justin realized that clients needed more attention than what he could provide at Edward Jones and so joined Cambridge Advisors in 2007. He likes the independence of being able to offer solutions that are tailored to each client’s needs, no matter how complex.

Justin became an owner of Cambridge Advisors in 2021 but has always been a key player in the strategic planning for the firm. He serves as head of our investment research activities and handles complex financial plans. He holds the AAMS designation which is especially helpful when building investment portfolios to meet client’s needs. Justin became one of the first advisors in the country to earn his Certificate in Blockchain and Digital Assets. The financial world moves quickly, and Justin enjoys digging in and learning about the newest investment and financial planning ideas to understand how they may benefit Cambridge clients.

Justin has served as moderator for his Christian Business Men’s Continuum (CMBC), as a board member of the Western Douglas County Chamber of Commerce and on the leadership team of his church. He also spent many years leading Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University course, and still believes and follows the principles taught in the program.

Justin and his wife Laura live in Yutan where they can be found coaching and cheering on the teams of their four children. In his sparse free time, you can usually find Justin on either the golf course or at the nearest fishing hole.
